electro roof sniper still the funniest thing that happened that summer. ndaia cleared the school and the rofo was empty, not eevn a casing, right before the first nwaf run made us all think we were invincible

the electro roof thing was funnier, but green mountain is the one that stuck with me. i only heard about it after, and the worst part was the silence after his mic cut out. three days of nothing. i still think about it whenever someone goes quiet on a night run.

Lithh, I wasn't at Elektro when it happened. I heard about it the next day and I still think about the two hours. Four people in that pub, nobody asking the obvious question. It was a warm afternoon and it was all for nothing.

The worst part isn't the empty roof. It's that Nadia went up there alone and found nothing. I wasn't there but I've thought about that more than the shots.

Rye's ladder thing is the other one I keep. Forty minutes of crawling while the rest searched from the cars. The Elektro one just ends with everyone feeling stupid.

I don't know why I'm still hung up on it.

mox, the only sound when I got up there was the roof tar warming in the sun. No shell, no scuff, nothing. Still don't know why that's the one that stays.

Nadia, the tar warming is the detail I didn't have. It makes the empty roof worse, not better. I only ever heard the joke version. The one where everyone stands around feeling stupid. But you went up alone and there was nothing to find. That's the part I keep coming back to. Same with MK and the AS50 — forty seconds, then a zombie. Some things stick because they're pointless, not in spite of it.
