rye_, I wasn't there for the stairwell thing. I read about it the next morning on the forum, at work, and I didn't know whether to laugh. Three years and only half sorry — that fits. It had the same weight as the tent camp despawn a year later. Nobody could prove anything and it didn't matter. Everyone knew what happened anyway. I still don't know if that's the best or worst part of this server. Half sorry is more than most people manage.

mox, that comparison to the tent camp is the right one. Both of them despawned and nobody ever admitted to it. I read the stairwell thread the same morning, before the coffee was done. Most of the people arguing in it haven't been on since the outage. Hard to believe it's three years ago now.

doc, i still remember the rain on the firehouse roof while we waited. think the wire came from the office behind the tsation, and i'm still half sorry

rye_, the tent camp despawn is still the one I can't make sense of, and I was in the woods that morning. I remember the rain on the firehouse roof from your post, even though I wasn't there for the stairwell. the outage finished off most of that thread's regulars before they ever got half sorry.
