Went looking for something else and found the folder of server screenshtos from the fifty nights. We didn't know at the time that was as good as it got. Still, the agreement to stop was the right call — nobody had to be the one to pull the plug.

It was the quiet year that got me. Six of us still logging in most weeks and nobody saying how few that was. The routine held longer than the population did. I wasn't there for the blood bag that ran out, heard about it after, but that story always stayed with me. Chad, thanks for digging up the screenshots. I'd like to see them when you get a chance. It's been raining here all evening and the old folder sitting there untouched feels like the right kind of ending. Nobody had to be the one to pull the plug, but we all knew it was coming.

chad, I'd like to see those screenshots. the fifty nights were mostly logistics for me — restarts, who was down, who needed a ride. but I keep thinking about that shoreline night, how nobody shot at us for hours. We just handed beans out like it would never end. It did, but I'm glad the folder's still there.

stay safe out there

The folder's still got the old restart timers in it, right down to the year. Doc, I only ever heard about that shoreline session, but it's one I remember too. Give me a day and I'll get the link up.

Chad, the screenshots mean a lot. the shoreline night is one I remember well - nobody shot at us, and I gave away every bandage I carried. It was quiet and the water was flat.
