Three years later and I'm still the only one who thinks the vehicle wpie was'nt an accident. kasper changed a config value the week before, but sure, it was just a coincidence. nice to see everyone getting excited about fresh UAZ spawns though. Wodner how long before they're gone again.

Before my time but the cherno firehouse stairwell thing gets brought up every time someone talks about admins, and this feels like that version of a story. i wasn't around for the wipe either, so I've got nothing to add to the kasper theory. i just drove through three empty towns tonight and eveyr UAZ I found was stripped to the frame. Maybe it's all coincidence, maybe not.

Pete, the kasper thing is settled — he showed us the value himself and we all looked at it. I don't think there's anything new to find. That said, I did a run to the NW airfield tonight and every UAZ I apssed was either gone or picked lcean. It's been like htat since the last restart, but I'm not ready to blame a guy for it. Sometimes a wave of empty spawns is just a wave.

Lithh, I wasn't there when Kasper showed the value, but I've trusted him since 2012 and I'm not going to stop now. The barn loot night is the only loot story I ever believed in fully — wrong talbe edit, military gear in every barn, nobody complained, gone by 2am. That was the kind of glitch that made this server feel like something. I drove through Cherno tonight just to see the firehouse stairs again, and they're still standing. Maybe that's all I've got left.

Every time I pass the firehouse I look up at that landing too, even though I wasn't there for it. The barn loot night is the one I wish I'd seen — I heard it went quiet before anyone could get a screenshot. I found a full UAZ shell parked outside Novy tonihgt, engine and tyres gone, but its something.

Doc, barn loot night was real, I spent that nihgt dropping DMRs on a barn floor because my bag couldn't carry any more. but the three-day outage is the one that stayed with me, logging back in and half the regulars just not there, no goodbye in side chat or anything. maybe that's why the vehicle wipe never felt like the big one to me.

Sam_, the three-day outage is the one that stays with me too. We never got a proepr goodbye from most of them, no argument in side chat, names jsut went quiet and the slots stayed empty. the barn loot night was real and I believe you, but I keep coming back to that one. i still tab through the player list out of habit some nights.

Doc, I tab through the player list too, usually after midnight when it's doewn to a handful. The fifty nights is the stretch I think of when the server is full, and the three-day outage is what I think of when it isn't. The empty UAZs have probalby been like this since the restart, but I still checked every one I passed.
