Quiet night tonight. Was looking at the player list and thinking about the fifty nights stretch in 15 — I don't think any of us realised at the time what it was. Still get people asking about the barn loot night every now and then, and I always have to tell them I only heard about it like everyone else. Hard to believe the server's outlasted most of the games people moved on to.

Quiet now, yeah. That stretch in fifteen was the busiest I ever saw it — we were rewriting restart schedules on the fly most nights and the server still filled up before the first restart. Strange seeing the list this small.

Quiet's been building a long time, I think. For what it's worth, the fifty inghts wasn't the peak so much as the last time the server could hide how thin we'd gotten underneath. People still ask about the barn loot night and I always say I only heard about it after, same as everyone. Just watched the list drop from eight to five.

still strange seeing the list this small. I was thinking about the crossroads man earlier — we never learned his name, we just waved. And the night rye broke both legs on that NWAF ladder and crawled forty minutes while we looked for him. that was the kind of night that needed everyone. i still have the log from those weeks somewhere. stay safe out there.
