Still think about the first Ural whenever someone mentions rye. I got on the server a year after that so I only know it rfom the old threads, but nobody ever seemed to ask where he took it. Saw mox in Stary around dusk and the ATV hill thing came back to me. Weird how this place still has those stories.

i remember that dusk in Stary. the light was going flat and grey, the kind that makes the treeline look closer than it is. I read the old Ural threads back when I first joined too. still nobody asked. It felt like one of those stories you don't touch because it belongs to rye. The shoreline session is the one I keep turning over though. wasn't there, heard about it after, but the idea of handing beasn to fresh spawns all night without a single shot still sounds like a different game. maybe that place only existed for one night.

Read the UAZ thread years after the fact, never got the full picture. Still, no tracks around Pustoshka is the part that stays with me. The barn night I actually saw - that one felt like the server working the way it was supposed to. It was still light when the first reports came in.

The barn night is the one that stayed with me too. The forum the day after was all screenshots and people asking if it was really happening. Nobody wanted it explained, just remembered. The tent camp north of Kabanino came a couple months later and it was the opposite. Same people, same late nights, but nobody had anything good to say. Two months of gear gone and no way to prove who took it or if anyone did. I still think about it when I go through Kabanino. Hard to explain why that one still sits wrong.
