Beans in the base gets my vote too. I still catch myself thinking about the tent camp despawn, then remembering it was three years ago. Kasper finding the wipe in the config the way he did is another one that stuck. I log in most Sunday nights around ten and the server's usually just empty. People ask why and I don't have a good answer anymore.

rye_, I remember that one. you always found the worst stretch of ground to end up hurt on. Different class of bad luck than the field with pete when the transfusion ran out and we all stood around arguing about what to do. Still surprised you

Doc, I think the answer's the same for all of us - we're just checking who else is still around. The Sunday night emptiness is easier to take if you remember the fifty nights, and I don't know how else to say that. rye's ladder crawl, I wasn't there for it, but I heard the retelling enough that it feels like I was in the car. I keep expectign somebody to finally post the screenshots from that summer and nobody ever does.

The Sunday night thing is mostly just people opening the map and seeing who is on it now. I still have the restart logs from that summer somewhere, so the tent cmap is the one I can actually pin to a timestamp. Everything else is memory, which is probably why the retellings are better than what happened. I sholud dig the screenshots out one of these nights.
