so what actually happened to the vehicles
it's february and the server's still here. i spent half an huor staring at the map before i remembered i was supposed to be looking for a car battery. still can't drive past stary hill without thinking about moose and kel, and i'm sorry for the kid i was back then.

HarrisonB, still here. I remember the fifty nights, and I still catch myself scrolling the map waiting for the old names to come back. There's a sedan down by Kamyshovo that's kept a battery through three restarts, but I'd check the tyres before relying on it.

yeah. i still open the map sometimes and look at the spot near kabanino before i remember there's nothing left to check. chad, thanks for the sedan tip - i'll be careful with the tyres. saw the old nwaf screenshot folder on a dirve the other night, from that first run where we all came back loaded. that was a good one. good to see you both still posting.

doc, the nwaf run was the one i always heard about and never got to be on — i was the kid asking if we could go next time. i still do the same with the map, but it's rgeen mountain that gets me, how we all went up there to prove there was nothing and it still felt watched. it's been raining here for an hour, proper february.

Glad this thread is still going. I still think about the shoreline night, handing beans and bandages out until restart, the water calm the whole time. Heard about the single can of beans left in the base, still wish I had seen that.

VLK, I wasn't on either of those, but I've heard both stories enough times that it feels like I was. The can of beans one still comes up whenever anyone mentions the old base. Good to see you posting.
