For whta it's worth I wasn't up there that night, only heard about it the way everyone else did. Rabbit went quiet every time it came up so we all stopped asking after a while. The firehouse stairwell screenshots are the better memory anyway — that was the fifty nights stretch and we were on every single evening. I'd almost forgotten what that felt like.

Still awake and reading this at 1am. I never got the Green Mountain story straight either, and at this point I don't expect to. The two things I remember most are ones I only heard about afterwards. The bus coming back from the eastern road with no windscreen. The camp with the tents open and only the ammo missing. Nobody who was there ever made a big thing about either one. That lack of explanation is what stayed with me. I still think about the ammo one more than I should.

those firehouse screenshots are the fifty nights summed up properly. I remember being wedged in that stairwell with the server full and the zombies coming through the wall below us. The ammo camp I only heard about after the fact — nobody ever bragged about it, and that's the part I still think about.
