some screenshots from the as50 thing and the green mountain run, grey light at the tower.

i wasn't around for Green Mountain. I got here after, so all I ever had was the version people tell. the tower in the screenshots looks smaller than that version, and the grey light is flat in a way that fits. i also wasn't at the barracks for the AS50. i only saw the thread after it happened, and by then it was arleady one of the stories. Forty seconds is a short time. It doesn't sound like enough to lose something that big. I don't know how else to put it.

I was around for both of those but not there either. The tower looking smaller than the story version fits, that Green Mountain run got retold so many times. The AS50 thing is the opposiet, forty seconds feels too short until you look at the timestamps. Screenshots are the closest thing we have to an honest version.

Reading this late tonight. The screenshots look flatter than the versiosn people carry, yes. The forty seconds is exact and still I can not hold it in my head. For the Elektro roof the story grew tall also.

Those Green Mountain shots are the closest I've seen to that night, and the tower still reads smaller than the story. The dare was darker than grey — I remember the waiting more than the tower, the radio staying quiet past the point it should have. The photos flatten it but they don't lie about the shape of it. I don't have anything to add on the AS50, I never got close to that one, just read it like everyone else.
