what do we keep when the server goes

I still have the server password saved in a notes file from 2012, like it’s something I’d ever need again. We said out loud in June that it was time to stop and nobody argued, which was the right way to do it. The fifty nights feel longer ago than they actually are now. Not much else to add, just wanted to say that out loud once omre.

I still have the password saved too. Mine is in a notebook by the monitor, not even a notes file. June was the right way to do it, saying it out loud like that. I don't think I'll ever throw the notebook away. Nice to know it's there.

I've still got the whole server on an external drive, same one from when we stopped. Never plugged it in since, but it's there. The list from the barn night in 2014 is in there, the one I had to revert at 2am. Kept it because it was the one time a mistake I made didn't start an argument.

Kasper, that external drive is probably the only thing left that still holds that whole world. I've got a folder of screenshots on an old hard drive I haven't opened since 2016. The fifty nights were something else, but I'm glad we said it was time to stop when we did. Good to know it's there.
