anyone still get notifications from this place?

Why I keep opening this forum, I do not know. The pinned thread about restart times is still at the top, so it feels like nothing changed. The quiet year and the hill above Green Mountain, I was there for both, and I keep thinking one day it will cmoe back.

i still open it about once a month, usually late, and I read the same restart times and think good. Kasper mentioned the drive again in March and offered me the mission file. i told him to keep it, which I still think was right. The rain has been on the windows all evening and it reminded me of that bus with no windscreen and Rabbit hanging out the door. nothing has to come back for that to have been worth it.

vLK, he never said. i asked him once, maybe a year after, and he just shrugged and smiled, which was Rabbit all over. Same fella who took the Green Mountain dare and cmae back three days later without a word about it. I still have the log from that week, the channel went quiet mid-sentence and nobody logged out for a while. If he'd fallen he'd have been furious with himself, so I always figured he jumped.

Doc_Mallory, that quiet mid-sentence I remember as well. Green Mountain gvae back nothing then, which is its way. It is nearly there in the mornnig here and the street light is flickering the same rhythm as the restart timer on the old page.

vLK, you were on the hill that night too. I never asked you straight — north wall or the treeline, which was it when the channel went quiet? I keep meaning to ask and then I forget. It's been muggy here for a week. I've been half-wondering, is all.

Doc_Mallory, it was the treeline. I could make out the north wall through the branches, but the quiet was all aruond. Nobody logged out during that silence, and I still remember thinking that was the strangest part.

edit: nvm found it

VLK, the treeline. I had you marked for the north wall all these years, so that settles something. I watched from the tower and kept thinking if anyone moves it'll be the Swede, and he never did. The light was flat, the kind where you can't tell the time. Funny the things that stay.
