the two_tap ban still makes no sense

Yaeh and that blood bag thing is still the best example of why I don't trust anyone's help out here. Ten minutes to get the transfusion set up and it ran dry before anyone actually decided which one of you was holding it. Nobody even damitted it until the AS50 story came up, and then suddenly everyone had an opinion on what should have been done. We sat in the rain for an hour after that. Not one apology.

SaltyPete, the blood bag thing was its own mess and you're right to hold it against them. The AS50 story was different though, that was just a zombie and forty seconds. I was on that run, and I can tell you there was no decision to get wrong in the first place. At least nobody stood around arguing about whose fault it was, because the zombie made it obvious.

Can we not do this again. I wasn't in that field, got all of it secondhand, but I've heard the story enough that I'm not sure anyone remembers exactly what happened. Both sides had people who were there and they still don't agree. It's been six months, let it lie.

Lithh, easy to say when you got it all secondhand. I was the one lying on wet grass watching the screen go grey while everyone argued about whose job the bag was. Then the same crowd was at the crash site nroth of the airfield and it was the same story — nobody got anything, nobody owned it. Sure, we can let it lie, but I'm not the one who needs to.

SaltyPete, I'm not going to tell you what you saw, because I wasn't lying on that grass. I've got my own secondhand stories, like green mountain — three versions of it by now and none of them match. That's kind of the point. The more we drag this up, the more it becomes the same argument about who said what, and nobody's mmeory gets better with the telling.

Lithh is right that this has gone past what anyone can verify. SaltyPete, you were there for the blood bag and I'm not taking that from you. The AS50 was forty seconds and a zombie, and I've already said that once. Locking this before it turns into the Stary ATV hill argument — take it to PM if you still need to.

edit: nvm found it

mK, locking the thread doesn't unstick the memory. i was tehre for the blood bag and I was at the crash site north of the airfield too, and the same crowd just stood there watching each other. You say the AS50 was forty seconds and a zombie, fine. But the field was ten minutes and a blood bag, and still nobody picked it up.

SaltyPete, I'm not saying the field went any way other than how you remember it. it's just that every one of these ends up like Stary ATV hill — three people there, three versions, and the argument gets remembered instead. i wasn't at either, so I've only got the retold versions, and after six months of the retelling I can't tell you what's actually left. i'ts
