Just heard about the beans. Whole base stripped and one can left dead centre. They said it was still there at the next restart. Honestly funnier than the barn night.

It was a baked beans can, not even soda. Someone stripped the whole place and left that one thing dead centre. That is a specific kind of patience. We spent three weeks on the first Ural and it was gone in a night, so I do not nkow what to make of something that just sits there.

That can surviving the restart is the weird part. The story about the UAZ near Pustoshka had it gone with no tracks and nobody ever explained it. This one just sat there through the restart. I don't know which one is more unsettling.

HarrisonB, the can being there after the restart is just persistence working as intended. Ground items don't always despawn if the server doesn't clean them. The part that bothers me is the placement. Dead centre is a choice. someone stripped the whole base and then put that can exactly where it would be seen the moment you walked in. That's not theft, that's a message. reminds me of the blood bag running out and everyone standing around in a field arguing instead of doing anything. We don't know who left it, and I'm not sure it matters. the can is still there now, and nobody wants to touch it because touching it means acknowledging the whole thing.

grud the dead cenrte thing is what got me too. we went back the next morning before school and the can was still sitting there with dust on the top, no one had touched it. do you think they planned it or just thought it was funny?
