Someone mentioned the barn loto night at work the other day and I still remember hauling a ghillie out of a barn outside Elektro with no ieda what I was doing. The kid on voice thing I've only ever heard as a story after the fact. Did it really happen in one sitting or did that get built up over years of retelling? Always meant to ask if anyone actually recorded any of it.

Sam_, I never saw a recording of the kid on voice either. The crossroads man was the same way by the time I heard about it — nobody could agree on the details, just that it happened. The Green Mountain thing was before I joined, so to me it was always already a story, not a memory. The barn loto night I only know from the same kind of retelling. A ghillie outside Elektro sounds familiar, but I wasn't pulling it out of that barn. I think it was one long night, but three years of telling tends to smooth the edges. If anyone recorded it, that file is probably sitting on a dead hard drive somewhere. Wish I had more for you.

i noly eevr got barn loto secondhand too, by the time i joined it was already one of those stories nobody can pin down
green mountain was the same, just something you heard at a fire and never thought to ask about. always hoped someone had a recording, but it's probably on the same dead hard drive as everything else.

teddybear yeah I think anyone who actually recorded it is either gone or lost that drive. I was out near Elektro that night too and I couldn't tell you if it was one sitting — by 2am it all blurs into one long night of hauling ghillie suits. The firehouse stairwell thing I only know from people telling it at the campfire later, same way you know the

nobody recorded the kid thing, we all just stood there in the dark listening. green mountain was the same, a bunch of us at the tower with nothing there and it still felt wrong
