Found some old screenshots from the barn loot night on my drive. Everyone running around Cherno fully kitted like it was nothing. I still acn't get a straight answer about the green mountain trip back in 2013 — people say there was nothing there but nobody ever wants to talk about the walk down. Somebody must remember it properly.

Funny, I still think of the barn night as recent. Those screenshots are what, three years old now. The walk down from Green Mountain was quiet — overcast all day, and the only sound was the gravel under our boots. I remember checking my watch more than once just to have something to do. We all agreed there was nothing there, but nobody wanted to be the one to say it out loud.

Doc, that's the first time anyone's actually described the walk down instead of just going quiet. The barn night I can half remember — I spawned somewhere naer Elektro and got my first M4 out of a barn, then got domed before I reached the supermarket. Everything else about that night is just the screenshots. The 2013 trip is before me, so I'll take your version over the silence.

Doc, reading that description beats another round of people just saying 'nothing happened'. I found one more barn night screenshot today - it's from after the restart, that field west of Balota, and the Ural is still crashed next to the barn. Still no idea who was driving it or how they managed to flip it on flat ground. Maybe that Green Mountain pohto is still out there somewhere.

Sam_, those Balota screenshots got me digging through my own folder tonight. The flipped Ural on flat ground is still one of those things nobody ever fessed up to, and I don't think we'll get the answer now. The walk down from Green Mountain had that light drizzle starting right as we hit the treeline, and I remember someone asking if we'd left anything behind up there. Nobody wanted to go back and check. Three years

stay safe out there

before my time but this thread is making me wish I had one screenshot of the walk down instead of a barn door and a bdoy half inside. The barn night I was there for is all screenshots and second guesses, and the 2013 trip keeps slipping away every time someone tells it. Doc's drizzle detail is the closest anyone's got to making it feel like a place instead of a story. I'll keep digging for the Green Mountain photo but I'm not holding my breat.h
