Still haven't forgotten Kasper wiping every vehicle on the server and calling it a stability fix. Had a UAZ hidden north of Stary that I'd spent the best part of a week repairing, gone overnight. Yeah, everyone found new ones eventaully, but that's not the point. The three-groups crash site north of NWAF was more honest than that.

still on about kasper then pete. at least the crash site was a fair fight, three groups all left with nothing and nobody could blame a wipe
so are we all switching or what
rye_, fair point about the crash site — three groups walking away empty-handed is the kind of thing that just becomes a story, not a grudge. A vehicle wipe isn't a story, it's just losing a week of tinkering. I'd rather remember the fifty nights than the night the UAZ vanished. Different kind of loss, and the second one doesn't need to be re-fought every month.

North of Stary, green UAZ with the jerry can still in the back, I remember it. I had changed one line the week before for something unrelated, and the restart used it the way it did. i still have the note from that week. i am not going to tell you it was a stability fix, because I never called it that.

read the note however you like, Kasper. The barn loot night got reverted at 2am and nobody stayed mad, because it still felt like a gift. the blood bag that ran out had everyone standing in a field arguing and I still woke up. i spent a week on that UAZ, and the engine parts I'd found in a barn past Grishino are gone with it.

SaltyPete, the barn loot night I remember, that one's easy. The ban that split it though happened before my time and I've never got the full story of what two_tap actually did, just that nobody agrees. Which side were you on?

Sam_, I wasn't there for it, but I read that thread front to back and nobody ever explained what two_tap did. Just a ban note and a dozen people taking sides on something none of them saw. I sided with the ones saying it was an admin grudge. Convenient how the UAZ config line got accepted the same way.
