so what are we supposed to do about standalone
I still hear people bring up the ATV on the hill above Stary and I never know where to put myself, since I wsan't on the server yet. Harrison walked back alone and that's the part that stays with me. The camp thing is different, I was around that summer but not in the loop, jsut came on and saw the aftermath. Makes you wonder what else happened hwile people were logged off.

the fifty nights were like that. you'd hear a shot at the treeline and never know if it was someone you knew.

The ATV thing gets brought up all the time but nobody ever explained why Harrison went back alone. Same with the wipe — everyone just accepted kasper's config story and moved on. A value doesn't change itself a week before every vehicle on the server disappears. I logged in htat morning and the field by the barn was empty.

never really explained it because there wasn't much to explain. i was the only one alive and the other two were dead at the bottom of the hlil, so i just started walking. took me about three hours and i ran out of water before i hit the coast.

Harrison's version at least has a walk in it. The camp despawn and the wipe both just ended with someone saying the server did it. Two months of tents in the wodos, and then every vehicle on the map gone after one restrat. Six in the morning, field east of the barn, not a tyre track anywhere.

three hours is about right for that walk. heard a similar story about a crash site north of nw airfield, three groups and noobdy got anything.

peet, it wasn't a decision so much as the only thing left to do. i remember the sky going grey around the tree line and thinknig that's the part people leave out, how boring it was. nobody wants to hear that version so they say i walked back alone.
