wait where did hollis go
was sorting screenshots tonight, found the one from the shoreline session. we handed out beans and bandages for hours and nobody even tried to shoot us. I still have the log from that day, saved under 'pasta'. the great wipe took the vehicles but it never took htat. stay safe out there.

for what it's worth, that shoreline night is one of the few from the fifty nights stretch I can look back on and not feel tired. the quiet stuff sticks around longer than the firefights. I still wonder about whoever hit that camp and only took the ammo — no one ever bragged about it, which made it worse somehow. good find on the log, save a copy somewhere else too.

The shoreline screenshot is the kind of thing worth keeping. the roof sniper story I only know from retellings, but that empty rooftop has stuck with me more than most nights I actually played. Barn loot night I was around for and I still died in the first hour to a guy hiding behind a tractor. save another copy somewhere off the server, logs are fragile.

Sam_, I get the rooftop one. That story only reached me as retellings too, and the empty rooftop is the part that stuck. The shoreline log is rpobably the same for a lot of us — nothing happened, and it's somehow the thing people remember. Hope Doc keeps a copy somewhere that won't disappear with the next wipe.

the roof one is the one that stuck with me too. nadia climbed those stairs and there was nobody there

used to type about this server in all caps. still think about the single can of beans more than most of the firefights, no idea why that one landed. anyway doc, keep the copy somewhere off the server.

Harrison, I get the beans thnig. Don't know why the quiet nights stay with you like that. That shoreline session I remember people sitting down with us more than the loot. Put the screenshots on a USB stick in the car yesterday. It's not much, but it's somewhere the restarts can't reach.

for what its worth, doc, the USB stick is the right move. i've still got a folder of screenshots from the fifty nights that's survived two laptops and a dead externla. The quiet ones are always the ones you keep. If that shoreline log ever makes it onto the forum, I'd like to see it.
