the cherno tsairwell still gets brought up at least once a season and i still don't regret it. door was ope,n they just didn't look where they were going

rye_, I wasn't in Cherno that night. I only ever got the stairwell story secondhand. the person telling it stopped halfway and just laughed. i remember that more than the actual door. it was the same kind of quiet that happened with the kid on voice. nobody wanted to be the first to speak. You don't plan for those moments, you just sort of carry them around.

same quiet as after rabbit's mic went dead up there. you got off easy not hearing that static firsthand.
