That single can was the best loot we carried out of there, honestly. Still think about that shorelien session sometimes - handing beans out to fresh spawns all night and nobody shot at us once. It was foggy enough that you couldn't see the water, just the sound of it. Rye falling off the wall is probably the loudest thing that happened all night. I dont think I've been back to the shore since.

Sand in the coat is just part of the story now, same as the beans. I still think about that night on the shore more than any firefight we had. It wasn't the loot, it was everyone benig there at once. Those nights got rarer after the outage. Glad we've still got the sand to prove it.

The beans can probably has its own entry in the server logs, if I ever dig through them. I remember checking the base afterwards to see if anything else had been moved and it hadn't. That and the sand in your coat are the only records that night left. I can cehck the exact time if anyone wants it.

kasper if the logs go back that far the wall drop has to be in there too. i remember the beans sat on the crate until the restart, nobody wanted to move them

Still find it strange we're doing memorial posts for one can of beans when the whole vehicle stash got wiped a year ago and that was just accepted. Kasper said it was a config value he'd changed the week before, and that was the end of it. The beans at least got sand and a story out of it. The UAZ just left a bare patch of grass where we used to park it.
