Was scrolling old threads during the restart tonight. Didn't know the ban thing went back to April 2014. The Elektro roof sniper story still doing the rounds after all these years. Full queue at 9pm tonight, place still alive.

Sam_, I remember that April thread. It felt huge then and now it's just something people link in passing. I still have the log from the first NWAF run, the night everyone came back loaded. The place feels alive because the same names keep showing up, even the ones who only come back to tell the story about the raided base with a single can of beans in the middle. Doc, that log's a relic now. I still see people link the first Ural thread and wish I'd been around for that. The barn olot night I did catch, and it was exactly as dumb as everything says. Rain on the roof all evening, good night for digging through old threads.

green mountain still gets me eveyr time someone digs up that thread. we all went up there to prove it was nothing and thne nobody wanted to be the one to drive back first. anyway these old threads are why i still cehck in even if i mostly lurk now.

Good to see people still digging through the old threads. I was there for the fifty nights run and it already feels like a different era when someone links it. Still never been sure what to make of the tent camp despawn, and I wasn't even around for it. The green mountain one gtes me too, HarrisonB — nobody ever wants to be the first to leave.

Lithh, the fifty nights run was just a long stretch of full evenings until it wasn't. I remember the 9pm restart queue still being full and thinking it would never drop off. The first Ural story does the rounds every year and nobody's ever said where rye actually left it.

Chad, that's about right. I remember the queue before restart being full without even looking, night after night, and then one evening it just wasn't. I never got the full Ural story either, for what it's worth. Probably better that way.
