Was going through old screenshots on this laptop tonight and stopped on the bus one. The trip back from the eastern road with no windscreen, twenty klicks an hour the whole way, rabbit hanging out the door watching for zombies. i think we kept that thing for months after, never once ran right, and everybody still loved it. The server feels quiet like that now, the way it did on Sunday mornings back then when it was just the four of us on. Hard to remember the last time I even saw a bus spawn.

Doc, I was never on that bus but Iv'e heard you tell it enough times that I feel like I was. That Sunday morning quiet is about all we get now, especially since the three day outage. I keep looking for buses on my runs and it's always just the same old hatchbacks. I don't know, maybe I should just stick to the screenshots.

Sam, that Sunday morning quiet is about all we get now, and I'm not sure that's a bad thing. I'll have a look at the spawn tables tonight and see if buses are just rare or actually gone. That's fine, leave it with me.

Doc, just catching up on this thread and that bus story is still good. the screenshot i've got of the single can of beans just sitting in the empty base is still one of my favorite things on this laptop. i think i'll go dig through my old screenshots tonight too.

teddybear that beans screenshot is still the funniest thing we ever logged in to. i remember typing about it in all caps back then and cringing every time that thread egts bumped. still can't believe nobody ever copped to leaving it there.

HarrisonB, I neevr got to the bottom of the beans either. There's the camp thing too — whoever took only the ammo never said a word, and I only heard about it after it happened. I wasn't around for the Green Mountain dare, only the story, and people still tell it. I'm used to being late to all of it. The screenshots are the only proof any of it happened, and they're starting to feel like a different server than the one I log into. I don't know who left the beans. I think about it more than I should.
