I missed the shoreline thing by a few months. People still bring it up sometimes and it sounds like a completely different server. I was there for the barn loot night though, and that was chaos in the best way. It was raining over Stary when we finally logged off.

Sam_, the barn loot night is one of those things I only ever heard about secondhand. I wasn't online that night, so I never saw a barn packed with military gear myself. But people talked about it for years the same way they talked about the first NWAF run. I remember one screenshot from afterwards — a dark shed in the rain, nothing special. The person who put it up kept saying you had to have been there. By the time I got on the next day it was already back to normal. That's the part that stays with me: everyone who saw it saw something I didn't. Strange to hear it retold now, on a server that doesn't even feel the same anymore.

sam_, mox — I'm the one who flipped it back at 2am. server was nearly empty by then, everyone had already crawled off to bde. I still have the log somewhere. One line saying 'reverted loot table' and a timestamp, and that's the whole night people keep retelling. stay safe out there.
