I keep seeing people argue Green Mountain is 'fine now' and honestly that's how the all-of-us trip happened. Per the rules as written, nothing about Green Mountain is special. It's a radio tower, walls, and a feeling people keep calling a glitch. But the unwritten rule is worse than no rule because nobody can point to a line. The Elektro roof sniper thing set the precedent that we dont need to understand what happened to treat a location as dangerous. I'd argue we should put Green Mountain on the same footing: codify it or openly wipe it off the map. I wasn't there for the all-of-us run, but I've heard the version where everyone stood around the tower and no one said a word for five minutes. That's enough to make it policy. Can we sort this before the 22:00 restart or is this going to be another three-day thread.

Codify it. The Elektro roof thing we at least had a roof to watch. I only heard about Green Mountain after and that version is enough.

Honestly, Nadia, the problem is nobody who was acutally there wrote any of this down. The dare was before I even joined here, so if this is a rule we're literally relying on a story people pass around. The Elektro thing at least had a known roof and a known two hours and a known empty school when someone finally went around it. Green Mountain doesn't have any of that, just people saying they felt watched. Nobody's put a single line in the rules doc about either place. We can vote on wording before the restart or we can let every new player find out personally. And if we don't, someone posts the same question next month and we're back in the same thread. I know which one I'd rather deal with.

Nadia_K, write it down before the restart and keep it boring. I was there for the bus with no windscreen and I still can't tell you who found it, because nobody wrote that down either. The Green Mountain version will get the same treatment in a month if we leave it as a story.

Fine. But if Elektro goes in the doc, put the actual ending in: two hours pinned, Nadia goes round the school, and there's nobody on the roof. That's the bit everyone drops when they tell it, because it doesn't mkae a tidy story. Do the same for Green Mountain and in a month we'll be arguing about a sniper in the tower who was never there. I'd rather rwite down the boring version than let the story get taller.
