The quiet was the whole trip up oto. I've still got the Fraps file from that day on a drive somewhere. Nobody talks until the trucks stop and then everyone's climbing out fast.

Reading this thread I keep coming back to the quiet. There was a stretch where we didn't mention how few of us still logged in and it went on for weeks. That was the quiet year and nobody named it while it was happening. I have a Fraps file from one of those nights and I still haven't opened it. The UAZ that vanished near Pustoshka is the same to me now — I heard abuot it the day after and there was nothing to say. Things just went and we didn't talk about it. This thread is the closest we've come to talking about it in years.
