Every time the first Ural ocmes up I remember Rye took it out alone that night and never said where it went. We spent three weeks collecting those parts for nothing. Still waiting on an answer about that one.

Rye never did answer that one. I still have the log from the parts runs — three weeks of us hauling tyres and scrap up from the coast for a truck he took out alone in the rain. If he'd told anyone where he was going, we might have at least had a story to go with it. Instead it's just another one of those nights we all showed up for and never got to finish. Stay safe out there.

the UAZ in the trees had no tracks either. rye's Ural at least had a driver.

sniper, wait what happened? was this saturday? i only ever heard about rye's ural after it was already gone and nobody said where. the uaz with no tracks sounds like another one i missed entirely.

I heard about the Ural the same way I hear about most things — afterwards, from someone else. The kid on voice is the one I keep coming back to. People just stood there listening instead of finishing the fight, and nobody ever said why. Same with the firehouse stairwell. Rye wired it shut and those two new spawns were in there until restart, and the only reason I know any of it is because someone told me the next day. Some nights on this server don't leave a trail. You just show up late and hear abotu it from a guy in direct chat at three in the morning. That's the whole stroy.

mox, the standing around thing is not new. Last October I went unconscious in a field because the blood bag ran out and everyone stood there arguing about what to do instead of doing any of it; it got dark before anyone moved. Rye took the Ural out and never said where; the UAZ didn't even leave tracks. I keep waiting for the follow-up post where either of those gets explained.

Heard about the Ural a couple days after it happened, and the guy telling me didn't have any more detail than anyone here. The UAZ is news to me. I wouldn't hold out for Rye to come clear it up — he's been quiet for months. Some nights just stay that way.
